Jason Hatcher: Cowboys Need A Leader

The Cowboys' defensive end believes the locker room is in need of a Ray Lewis-type figure

Well, this is kind of alarming.

Dallas Cowboys’ defensive end Jason hatcher joined ESPN Radio 103.3’s Ben & Skin on Friday, as well as special guest co-host Deion Sanders to discuss the state of the team and, in the course of the interview, the subject of leadership in the locker room was broached.

Specifically, Hatcher was asked who the leaders on the team are--which brings us to the alarming part.

"Dude. I gotta be honest with you: That's a good question,” Hatcher said, via ESPN Dallas. “That's a good question. I really don't know. It's just another thing we really need ... like the Ravens, we don't have that. We've got the talent. We've got everything we need. I think we get like a Ray Lewis, like, everybody buy into him. When Ray Lewis speaks, everybody listens to him. A guy like that.

“We really don't got that. I think we definitely need somebody like that."

Especially after hearing this, yes--we agree whole-heartedly.
