Jalen Ramsey Sees Dallas as a “Possibility”

Ramsey is widely regarded as one of the most talented players in the draft regardless of position

Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey may never make it to the Dallas Cowboys’ pick at No. 4 overall, but the team has made no secret of the fact that, if he does, they’re very interested in his services.

Ramsey recently named the Cowboys as one of the teams that’s shown the most interest in him ahead of the draft, along with the Baltimore Ravens, San Diego Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Cowboys hosted Ramsey on an official pre-draft visit at Valley Ranch earlier this month.

It was a really good day,” Ramsey said of his visit, per Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas. “I got to watch a little bit of film, talk to them and get comfortable with the surroundings there because that’s a possibility where I’ll end up.”

Like the Cowboys’ first round pick last year, UConn’s Byron Jones, Ramsey can play both corner and safety.

“It’s not hard because I’ve done it,” Ramsey said. “I’m used to it. My mindset doesn’t change. It kind of gives me a better perspective when I am moving so when I’m at corner I know what I would want at safety and I know how at safety how to help because I’ve played both positions.”
