Jack Crawford Gets a Sack in Homecoming

Crawford registered two tackles and a sack in his hometown of London on Sunday

Cowboys defensive end Jack Crawford was already having a special week, as the team was in his hometown of London to play the Jacksonville Jaguars. On Sunday, the experience was tied up with a bow when Crawford recorded a sack and two tackles in front of family and old friends.

"Every defensive lineman dreams about getting a sack, a fumble in front of his family and friends,” Crawford said, per Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas. "And the fact that it happened tonight just made it so much more special. It’s a great day, playing in Wembley in front of my friends and family. It was an experience that I will never forget.”

As a kid, Crawford dreamed of playing at Wembley Stadium but he didn’t imagine he’d be playing a very different kind football--the kind where you can’t use your hands--as a member of the English National Team.

"I always thought I wanted to play for the national team and this and that,” Crawford said. "But you never know where life is going to take you.”
