Through two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, receiver Dez Bryant has been something of a mixed bag. He’s shown flashes of brilliance for sure, but flashes is the operative word there, and, combined with a few off-the-field incidents, many around Dallas believe the jury’s still out on the team’s 2010 first round pick.
But Michael Irvin apparently isn’t one of those. The Pro Football Hall of Famer believes Bryant not only grew in 2011, but, if he continues to grow, will be the best in the business at the receiver position.
"I thought Dez made great strides this year on the football field,'' said Irvin, per the Dallas Morning News. "He has a lot of room to continue to grow, but he made great strides.
"When Dez really locks it all in, understands it, Dez will be the best receiver in the NFL.''
