Former Cowboy and Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin isn’t ready to cast any stones in the direction of Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper, who has come under fire after video of him using the N-word at a June Kenny Chesney concert surfaced.

In fact, Irvin said recently in an NFL Network interview that Cooper “did a wonderful job with his apology” in the wake of the incident.

“We’re making millions of dollars off of saying it, and everybody’s saying it and then we turn around and get so mad that someone else says it,” Irvin said, per the Dallas Morning News. “And I’m guilty. I’m guilty. Maybe we should start looking at that, because I want harmony for my sons.

“I want us to be able to live together in harmony and I think that’s what we all should work towards. And maybe we should start looking at that.”
