Contract talks between the Washington Redskins and quarterback Kirk Cousins may or may not have broken down.
ESPN’s Adam Scheffer tweeted on Tuesday that the talks had broken down, but that was followed by a Pro Football Talk report Wednesday that cited an “adamant” source who said the talks between the two sides are ongoing.
Of course, Cousins is coming off a breakout season. He completed an eyelash under 70 percent of his passes in 2015 while piling up 4,166 yards, 29 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, and led the Redskins to the NFC East title.
Cousins and the Redskins were bounced in the first round by the Packers.
