What do you get the man who has everything?
A win over the Seattle Seahawks will do for Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
Jones received a nice early birthday present on Sunday when his team upset the Seahawks 30-23 in Seattle, a game that pretty much zero percent of experts thought was winnable for Dallas, just hours before his 72nd birthday.
“Frankly, more than I could have expected,” Jones said of the start to his birthday. “Almost as good as the Herschel Walker trade.”
At 5-1, Jones’s confidence is high going into the team’s first NFC East matchup of the season against the Giants at AT&T Stadium next Sunday.
“When I see us come up here against the Super Bowl champions and play in these adverse conditions ... When I see us play like that, then I’d say we’ve got a chance to line up against anybody and win the game,” Jones said.
