If you’re still watching this one, and you consider yourself a Cowboys fan, we commend you. Because this has been an almost unthinkably ugly game thus far for Dallas, as they trail New York at half, 21-0.
The Giants first got on the board with a 74-yard catch-and-run from Eli Manning to Victor Cruz in the first quarter to give New York the 7-0 lead. This was only the beginning.
Ahmad Bradshaw ran two touchdowns in in the second quarter, runs of five and ten yards, respectively. With Bradshaw’s contributions, New York extended their lead to 21-0, which--following a missed 52-yard field goal attempt by Dan Bailey--is where we stand at half.
If it sounds ugly, it is. Aside from their obvious defensive struggles, the Cowboys managed just 96 yards of offense in the first half, compared to 277 from the Giants.
