Giants' Cullen Jenkins Takes Shot at Jerry

Cullen Jenkins was one of two Giants defenders who were accused of feigning injuries by Jerry Jones

It’s beginning to look like Jerry Jones’ accusation that a pair of New York Giants defenders feigned injuries to slow down the Cowboys’ no-huddle attack was a bit off base.

On Thursday, linebacker Dan Connor--the first to go down on Sunday night--was placed on injured reserve with a neck injury, ending his season.  Defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins, injured defender No. 2, insists that his injury was legit as well, and said this week that he doesn’t know what Jones was looking at.

In any case, he has a solution for the Cowboys owner.

Maybe he should get his son-in-law to clean his glasses a little better,” Jenkins said, in reference to last season--when Jones was caught on the JerryTron taking his glasses off and handing them to his son in law, who wiped them with a cloth and handed them back, per ESPN Dallas. “I don't know what he saw if he thinks I was faking.”
