Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett isn’t concerned that running back DeMarco Murray will lose any steam down the stretch.

With three games remaining on the schedule, Murray leads the NFL by an impressive margin in both carries, with 320, and yards with 1,606.

DeMarco is a guy who has shown he can handle the workload, both as a runner and a receiver,” Garrett said, per ESPN Dallas. “He wants more. He never wants to come out of the game. At different times, we’ve done a good job of getting the other guys in there and they’ve taken advantages of their opportunities and we’ll continue to do that, but he’s a bell-cow player and it doesn’t look like he’s slowing down at all to me. He feels great. He says he feels great and really looks like he’s playing at a very high level.”

In last Thursday’s victory over the Bears in Chicago, Murray set a new career high with 32 carries, while going for 179 yards. He added nine catches, bringing his total touches to 41--which makes Murray the first player in five years to have 40-plus touches in a single game.
