Garrett Not Concerned About Dez's Foot

Dez Bryant suffered a minor foot injury in the win over the Giants last Sunday

Dez Bryant was limited in practice on Wednesday, but only a little bit, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said.

Bryant suffered a minor foot injury in the season opening victory over the Giants, but the team doesn’t seem overly concerned by it. After the session on Wednesday, Garrett made clear that whatever limitations were placed on Bryant in practice were strictly precautionary.

He just didn’t take every single rep like he normally does,” Garrett said, per ESPN Dallas. “That’s just a function of we played Sunday night, he has a little bit of a foot injury and we want to make sure he’s healthy and ready to go this ballgame. No setbacks. Maybe just a little bit more of a limited practice than a typical Wednesday.”

On Sunday, Bryant will be looking for a breakout game, after being limited to four catches and 22 yards against the Giants in Week One.
