Garrett: Mo Claiborne is Back, Admitted Mistake

Morris Claiborne stormed out of Valley Ranch on Tuesday after learning that he'd be benched

Morris Claiborne admitted he was in the wrong on Tuesday when he stormed out of team headquarters at Valley Ranch after learning that he’d be benched, head coach Jason Garrett told reporters on Wednesday.

“We informed Mo yesterday that his role was going to change, and he didn’t take that news very well--by his own admission,” Garrett said. “He left the building and didn’t participate in the meetings and short walkthrough that we have on Tuesdays.”

Garrett added that the team considers the incident behind them: “He did come back to the building last night. He and I visited, and he was here early this morning and has been going through everything. We’re going to discipline him. We’ll keep how we’re disciplining him in-house, but we’ll move forward. It’s behind us.”

Claiborne was having a pretty brutal day on Sunday until he brought down the fourth quarter interception that sealed the 34-31 comeback victory over the Rams, but told reporters afterward that the pick wasn’t enough to make him feel better about his performance.
