GIT ‘EM! Choice Asks Vick For Autograph After Cowboys Loss

Oh, Tashard Choice. And here you had built up so much good will over the past week or so by coming out and playing like a competent NFL running back. But then you go out after last night’s loss to Philly and, in full view of NBC’s camera crew, ask Eagles QB Mike Vick for his autograph. Here’s the video:

YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT, TASHARD. No one makes a friendly exchange with another player after a loss like that. You’ve betrayed an entire city! GET HIM! LOCK HIM UP! FEED HIM NOTHING BUT NAILS AND GLUE!

Choice took to his Twitter feed to defend himself after getting flak for the signing.

Listen y'all I know vick. That glove was for my nephew who is 3. Not for me.
@HERO681 I don't care abbout that we all exchange autographs. That's so stupid for people to get mad at.

Oh, is it, Tashard? I’ll be the judge of that! You say that autograph was for your nephew. A likely story. You know what I think is more likely? That you’re in love with Michael Vick and that you purposely tanked last night because he’s your best friend! ADMIT IT! ADMIT WHAT YOU DID!

Seriously though, I don’t actually think this is a big deal. We always want players to hate one another but that just isn’t part of today’s sports landscape, with players changing teams constantly and all that.

Also, it’s a poorly kept secret that other NFL players LOVE Mike Vick. Even when he was in jail, Chad Ochocinco said he thought Vick was the best QB in football. And the scary thing is that Ocho may have been RIGHT! Other NFL players love watching Vick play, and I’m sure a great many of them think the QB was held up as an example by the NFL and Federal authorities. So it’s not surprising that Choice asked for Vick’s John Hancock. I bet plenty of players have done likewise, though perhaps not with Al Michaels watching.
