Carroll took a free agent visit to Valley Ranch last week

Yet another free agent target of the Dallas Cowboys has opted to return to his original team.

First it was running back Bilal Powell returning to the Jets. Now, it looks like cornerback Nolan Carroll is going back to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Carroll took a free agent visit with the Cowboys last week, but according to multiple reports, he will return to Philadelphia on a one-year deal in 2016. The Maryland product has spent the past who seasons in Philly, after four seasons with the Dolphins.

With the Eagles in 2015, Carroll posted 57 tackles, 10 passes defended and a pair of interceptions.
