Former Cowboy Martellus Bennett on the Move Again

Bennett has reportedly agreed in principle to a four-year deal with the Bears

Former Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennett is on the move again.

Bennett announced (where else) via Twitter that he had agreed in principle to a four-year deal with the Chicago Bears on Tuesday night.

“I'm proud to say I'll be joining my other brother @bmarshall next season. #BEARDOWN” Bennett wrote, referencing Bears’ receiver (and not his actual brother, Michael, who’s a defensive lineman for the Bucs) Brandon Marshall, via Yahoo! Sports.

A second round pick out of Texas A&M back in 2008, Bennett spent his first four seasons in Dallas before departing for the Giants a year ago. He had the most productive season of his career in New York in 2012, with 55 catches, 626 yards and five touchdowns--all career highs.

At 6-foot-6 and 270, Bennett also has a reputation as one of the best blocking tight ends in the NFL.
