With Marion Barber nursing a calf injury, it’s looking increasingly likely that Felix Jones will get his third career start this Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, but, according to Jones, that fact hasn’t really changed the way he is preparing for the game.
Despite Barber’s starter tag, always guarded vigilantly by the Cowboys so as to not hurt anyone’s feelings, Jones leads the team in carries, with 111, and yards, with 448. As such, Jones won’t receive any shock to the system when he starts against Indianapolis on Sunday.
"You have to prepare every week because you never know what's going to happen," Jones said, per ESPN Dallas. "When I get the opportunities I have to take advantage of it. When given those opportunities I will do it to the fullest of my abilities."
