Felix Jones Returns to Practice

Jones missed Wednesday's practice session with ongoing knee issues

Banged up running back Felix Jones returned to practice on Thursday, after missing Wednesday with ongoing knee issues. Jones has spent a good deal of the year fighting through various injuries but has started each game since starting running back DeMarco Murray went down with an injured foot.

In the Thanksgiving Day loss to the Redskins, Jones was used sparingly on the ground, carrying the ball six times for 14 yards. He was far more effective in the passing game, catching three passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.

"He's done a really good job fighting through a couple of these injuries, knowing the situation we have with DeMarco (Murray) being out for a little while," said head coach Jason Garrett, per ESPN Dallas. "He’s just kind of stepped up, has gotten himself ready to play in the ballgames. He's done a good job when we’ve handed it to him, a good job when we’ve thrown it to him."

Jones could get some much needed relief in the form of the aforementioned Murray, who returned to practice on Wednesday.
