Fearless, Hopeless Predictions: Thanksgiving Edition

The Cowboys and Dolphins will face off at Cowboys Stadium on Thanksgiving Day

*Announcer Jim Nantz will accidentally call Dolphins’ head coach Tony Sparano “Tony Soprano” at some point. Nantz and booth-mate Phil Simms will have a little too good of a chuckle over the mistake.

*In a nod to the holiday on Thursday, Jerry Jones will wear the same suit he wore the day he landed at Plymouth Rock. “Still fits!” he’ll say proudly.

*Pop group and inexplicable halftime performance favorites The Black Eyed Peas will approach Thursday’s halftime performer Enrique Iglesias prior to the game, to ask if he needs any help with the show. Iglesias will decline, but as they always do, Fergie and the rest of the Peas will just sort of hang around to the discomfort of everyone.

*Bradie James will break out his Turkey Dance once again this year, and, once again, turkeys everywhere--most of whom have lost close family members over the past few weeks--will feel insulted.

*The crowd of football fans at Cowboys Stadium will turn into an unruly mob after Iglesias neglects to perform his 1999 hit “Bailamos.”

*During a short lull in the action, Simms will ask Nantz, “Hey Jim, remember that time you called Tony Sparano ‘Tony Soprano.’ That was funny.”

Happy Thanksgiving, all.
