Fantasy Land: Week 10 Remembered

Many folks thought the New England Patriots were poised to lose three straight games for the first time in many moons on Sunday night.

They were limping into a game against the New York Jets, who had been playing well. And worse yet, star quarterback Tom Brady just hadn't looked quite like Tom Brady over recent weeks.

So much for all of that.

While the Jets have probably the best cornerback duo in the NFL (ahem, Philadelphia) and Brady's favorite receiver Wes Welker was shut down for the most part on Sunday, Brady found other ways to hurt the Jets defense.

Rob Gronkowski was a god-send for fantasy owners on Sunday night, catching 8 balls for 113 yards and two touchdowns as the 6-6 athletic tight end proved once again to be Brady's red-zone target of choice. He now has eight touchdowns in nine games.

As for the fantasy goats, look no further than Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Fitzpatrick came to Arlington on Sunday leading an offense that has averaged better than 30 points per game this season but has now laid two straight stinkers against the Jets and Cowboys.
