Fantasy Land: Studs and Duds, Week 8

A two-time champion in a hardcore keeper league, including some know-it-all media "experts", who just so happens to be 0-7 in said league this year, Adam Boedeker gives his fantasy expertise on a weekly basis.

Stud of the Week

Tony Romo, QB, DAL — We went with Romo last week against the Panthers, and while he didn't throw any picks, he didn't have a standout game either. Sure, Romo is going up against the New York Giants, who are the first-place team in the NFC East by more than just a game. But Romo's actually been very good against the Giants in his career, averaging more than 300 yards passing with 12 career touchdowns and just two picks. This might be the week to start Romo without any hesitation.

Honorable mention: Andrew Luck, IND (at TEN); Michael Vick, PHI (vs. ATL); Rashad Jennings, JAC (at GB); Lance Moore, NO (at DEN).

Dud of the Week

Matthew Stafford, QB, DET — Wow. This guy has been quite the disappointment. That's really all I have the stomach to say right now because it makes me sick, personally. He pretty much wrecked my season. Thanks, dude. Oh, and he's playing a stiff Seattle defense.

Honorable mention: Cam Newton, CAR (at CHI); Mikel Leshoure, DET (vs. SEA); Dwayne Bowe, KC (vs. OAK); Brian Hartline, MIA (at NYJ).
