Fantasy Land: Studs and Duds, Week 6

A two-time champion in a hardcore keeper league, including some know-it-all media "experts," Adam Boedeker gives his fantasy expertise on a weekly basis.

Stud of the Week

Eli Manning, QB, NYG — For the second time this season, I'm going with the same quarterback on consecutive weeks as the stud of the week. The last time, it was Carson Palmer, and it worked. Now, it's Manning, who is coming off a huge game in a comeback win over San Francisco. The one question mark is the health of Odell Beckham Jr., but expect him to play with the extra day to prepare for Monday night, and expect him to have a big night against a porous Philadelphia secondary.

Honorable mention: Philip Rivers, SD (at GB); Chris Ivory, NYJ (vs. WAS); Lamar Miller, MIA (at TEN); Allen Robinson, JAC (vs. HOU).

Dud of the Week

Josh McCown, QB, CLE — Josh McCown has been one of the most pleasant surprises in fantasy football this year, as he's putting up some pretty serious numbers in a Browns offense that wasn't expected to provide much punch this year. This week, however, McCown faces a Broncos defense that has been relentless this year and has one of the most fearsome pass rushes in the game. If you have a better option (you should), go ahead and sit McCown this week.

Honorable mention: Russell Wilson, SEA (vs. CAR); Cam Newton, CAR (at SEA); Alfred Morris, WAS (at NYJ); Antonio Brown, PIT (vs. ARI).
