Fantasy Land: Studs and Duds, Week 4

A two-time champion in a hardcore keeper league, including some know-it-all media "experts", Adam Boedeker gives his fantasy expertise on a weekly basis.

Stud of the Week

Joe Flacco, QB, BAL — Flacco has long been confident that he's just as good as guys like Tom Brady and might even be the best quarterback in the NFL. Lots of people laughed when he made that statement, but so far this season he's proven to be pretty accurate with the assessment. In their past two games, Flacco's opponent this week, Cleveland, has given up over 500 passing yards, six touchdowns and has just one interception. Torrey Smith had a stellar game on Sunday night after his brother tragically passed away, and you'd have to think he's still in line for another big game based on nothing more than emotion.

Honorable mention: Mikel Leshoure, DET (vs. MIN); Greg Jennings, GB (vs. NO); Christian Ponder, MIN (at DET).

Dud of the Week

Michael Vick, QB, PHI — Vick has been a turnover machine so far for the Eagles. There has even been talk that a quarterback change could soon be on the horizon if things don't get better as the Eagles are very high on rookie QB Nick Foles, who excelled in the preseason. Vick has thrown six interception and fumbled three times while taking nine sacks in three games this season. That's real bad. This week, he gets to deal with an aggressive New York Giants defense that held Cam Newton to basically nothing last Thursday night. If you're not already, you might want to get Vick on your bench.

Honorable mention: Cam Newton, CAR (at ATL); Dez Bryant, DAL (vs. CHI); Brandon Marshall, CHI (at DAL).
