Fantasy Land: Studs and Duds, Week 13

A two-time champion in a hardcore keeper league, including some know-it-all media "experts," Adam Boedeker gives his fantasy expertise on a weekly basis.

Stud of the Week

Jay Cutler, QB, CHI — It's actually been a pretty nice season for Jay Cutler, and this matchup against the awful 49ers is enough to get Cutler owners (myself included) licking their chops. Cutler is also fully equipped now with his star weapons all back, as Alshon Jeffery, Matt Forte and Martellus Bennett are all apparently healthy.

Honorable mention: Ryan Fitzpatrick, NYJ (at NYG); Matthew Stafford, DET (vs. GB); Javorius Allen, BAL (at MIA); John Brown, ARI (at STL).

Dud of the Week

Philip Rivers, QB, SD — Rivers has made a living of being great for fantasy owners early in the year and then fading down the stretch. This year has been a little more disjointed, but this week's matchup just seems like a slam dunk to be a dud for Rivers. Rivers is at home, at least, but he still has to face the Denver defense, which has been a death sentence for opposing fantasy quarterbacks this year.

Honorable mention: Jameis Winston, TB (vs. ATL); Alfred Morris, WAS (vs. DAL); Stefon Diggs, MIN (vs. SEA); Steve Johnson, SD (vs. DEN).
