Easley Says Dallas Visit “Was Really Good”

Florida DT Dominique Easley visited Valley Ranch a few weeks ago

Asked in an interview this week about his pre-draft visits, University of Florida defensive tackle Dominique Easley mentioned the Dallas Cowboys--just one of 17 such visits for Easley--by name.

"Going to Dallas was really good,” Easley told Aaron Wilson of NationalFootballPost.com. “I didn't actually meet Jerry Jones on my trip, but I got a real good vibe from them. All the trips were very similar."

Easley is an intriguing prospect. He suffered a torn ACL last season, the second torn ACL of his career with the Gators. But his rehab is going well enough that his stock has been on the rise of late. Once projected as a third or fourth rounder, many experts have him coming off the board in the second.

“It's going good,” Easley said of his rehab. “I'm just ready to get back on this field. Everything has gone real well. I'll be full-go by training camp. I'll be able to do a lot this spring right away as soon as I'm drafted.”
