Dunbar Questionable With Strained Hamstring

Lance Dunbar strained his right hamstring in the second quarter of the loss to the Broncos

Cowboys running back Lance Dunbar is a question mark for the team’s Sunday Night Football matchup with the Washington Redskins next week after suffering what the team describes as a strained right hamstring, Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Dunbar underwent an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury, but the team is still uncertain of the timetable for his return.

The injury was suffered during a second quarter kickoff. Dunbar came up lame while covering the kick, and exited the game. He’s already missed one game this season, the opener against the Giants, with a foot injury.

Through the four games since the opener, Dunbar has 38 yards rushing on seven carries, four yards on a catch, and a fumble.
