“Doubtful” That Cowboys-Redskins Will Be Flexed, Jerry Says

Dallas is scheduled to play Washington in DC on December 30

There’s a pretty good chance that the Dallas Cowboys’ week 17 matchup with the Washington Redskins will be huge, a battle for the NFC East crown. But that doesn’t mean the NFL will use its flexing powers to move that game, which is scheduled for noon on December 30, to primetime.

Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones told 105.3-FM “The Fan” this week that he hasn’t been contacted by the NFL, leading him to believe the game will stay put.

Right now it’s scheduled to be played as played,” Jones said, per the Dallas Morning News, “and I’m doubtful that one will be changed.”

Dallas will play the Saints this Sunday at noon at Cowboys Stadium. They’re currently tied with the Redskins and the New York Giants for the lead in the NFC East.
