Dolphins Sign G David Arkin Off Practice Squad

Arkin was a fourth round pick by Dallas back in 2011

With their offensive line somewhat decimated by the Jonathan Martin/Richie Incognito kerfuffle, the Miami Dolphins have signed guard David Arkin off the Dallas Cowboys practice squad.

Martin, the second-year tackle out of Stanford, left the team a little over a week ago due to emotional issues. Shortly thereafter, allegations that Martin had been harassed by Incognito began to surface and--while the team denied the allegations initially--they suspended Incognito indefinitely on Sunday for conduct detrimental to the team.

The NFL is now investigating the relationship between Incognito and Martin.

Arkin, a Missouri State product, was selected by Dallas in the fourth round of the 2011 Draft. He was active for a single game this season, after being inactive for the first 32 games of his career. Arkin was originally cut on October 26 to make room for rookie free safety Jakar Hamilton, but returned to the practice squad shortly thereafter.
