Dez Bryant doesn’t usually like talking about individual opponents, but this week, he had little choice. The Cowboys will face one of, if not the best cornerback tandem in the league in the Jets’ Antonio Cromartie and (one of, if not the best individual corner in the league) Darrelle Revis.
"To tell the truth, I’m not the type of guy to single anybody out--no DB, nothing like that," Bryant said of Revis this week, per ESPN Dallas. "But it’s hard not to, because he’s great."
A consummate competitor, Bryant isn’t intimidated by the reputation of Revis and, to a lesser degree Cromartie--but rather is looking forward to the early test, after a rookie season cut short by a fractured ankle.
"I’ll tell you that they are great," Bryant said. "They’re some great DBs, probably the best. I mean, [they] are the best. But we’re all up for this matchup between our wideouts and their DBs.
“It’s going to be great."
