Dez Impressed By Mo Claiborne

Dez Bryant believes Morris Claiborne has the tools to be one of the best corners in the NFL

Cornerback Morris Claiborne has said this offseason that he expected to see “a great big jump” from his rookie to his sophomore season in the league, and according to the reviews coming from the 23-year-old’s teammates, this may have been an accurate prediction.

In fact, according to the folks who have seen Claiborne this offseason, he has the potential to be among the best corners in the NFL.

He’s real tough and that’s what I love,” said receiver Dez Bryant, who did battle with Claiborne in practice on Wednesday, per the Dallas Morning News. “I feel like he’s adding an element to his game and that’s being more physical. He’s already got the eye for the ball. He has hands like a receiver. He’s just putting pieces together to be one of the best in the league.”

Veteran safety Will Allen has been impressed by his young teammate as well.

“He’s going to be one of the best in the league, by far,” Allen said. “His athletic ability is through the roof.”
