Dez: “I'm in the Best Shape that I've Ever Been”

Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant says he's in the best shape of his life

Looking to build on the first Pro Bowl season of his career, Dez Bryant arrived at Valley Ranch for offseason workouts feeling as good as ever.

I am in the best shape that I’ve ever been,” Bryant said, per ESPN Dallas.

Bryant has had some fun this offseason, too. He took in Game 5 of the Thunder-Clippers series in Oklahoma City on Tuesday with teammate, workout partner and fellow Oklahoma State product, linebacker Orie Lemon, but quickly turned around and returned to DFW to join his teammates at Valley Ranch.

“Trust me, I’ve been working hard,” Bryant said. “I’ve been working six days out of the week. Today is my off day, but I’m going to the facility right now. That’s all I’ve been doing. This year is special.”

Bryant went on to predict a breakout year for Lemon, who has five tackles in eight career games with Dallas.

“He’s going to be a real sleeper,” Bryant said. “He’s been working so hard. He’s going to come out of nowhere and surprise a lot of people.”
