Dez: “Feeling is Different” Around Valley Ranch

The Cowboys have a history of limping through the month of December

The Dallas Cowboys have developed a reputation in recent years for limping through the month of December, but if receiver Dez Bryant is right, this year’s edition of the team could reverse that trend.

Why does Bryant believe this?

“Our approach,” he said, per ESPN Dallas. “Everybody wants to get better. Just by the little things. Not making the cold weather a big issue. Just go out there and understand what’s important. That’s the opportunity that we have to go out and get into the playoffs.”

Granted, Bryant isn’t making any guarantees about how the Cowboys will finish this, the most troubling of months for the team.

“But I can say the feeling is a lot different,” he said. “This is the beginning for us. The beginning of December for us. So we’ll see. We’re excited about the work that we’ve put in, and we can only go from there.”

As of now, the Cowboys are 8-4 and in second place in the NFC East. If the playoffs began today, they wouldn’t be in the mix.
