Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant said in the minutes after the team’s 33-10 Thanksgiving Day loss to the Philadelphia Eagles that he couldn’t wait to face the Eagles again. He didn’t have to wait long for the rematch of course, and now that it’s drawing close, he’s no less excited for a shot at redemption.
“Oh man, it actually went by pretty quick,” Bryant said, per the Dallas Morning News. “I couldn’t wait to get into meetings, watch film, and look at these guys again. Can’t wait.”
Bryant, who was limited to 73 yards and no touchdowns on four catches in the team’s first matchup with the Eagles, more or less echoed Orlando Scandrick’s statement earlier this week--that this matchup has the feel of a playoff game.
“Basically,” Bryant said. “It’s the way you have to look at it. The way we prepare, we’re very confident. We can’t wait until Sunday.”
