Dez Bryant is Pretty Frustrated With the Media

Bryant said this week that he will no longer give interviews outside of Valley Ranch

Presumably left miffed by the controversy that arose from his swing through ESPN headquarters last month and a bevy of local and national radio shows since, Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant has declared that he will no longer speak to the media. Not outside of Valley Ranch, anyway.

On Tuesday, Bryant posted the following tweet, all sic, via the Dallas Morning News: “I’m never talking with the media outside of valley ranch all they do is twist your words….”

In case you forgot, Bryant was accused of being a selfish player by ESPN blowhard Skip Bayless, and he caught a good bit of guff after he responded to a question in a radio interview by saying that he thought it possible that he could post 2,000 receiving yards in a season--an unprecedented feat.

Most recently, Bryant said that he feeds off the hatred directed at the Cowboys, that he uses it as motivation. At some point in all this--despite the fact that none of it should’ve been considered controversial, really--Bryant must have decided that the media rounds were more trouble than they were worth.
