Dez Bryant Confident Tony Romo Will See Postseason Success

Romo has just one playoff win in his career to this point

There are more than a few people around town who have doubts that Tony Romo will ever see any real postseason success, but that group doesn’t seem to include anyone in the Cowboys locker room. Receiver Dez Bryant is the latest to come out in support of the idea that, yes, Romo can and eventually will see success in the playoffs.

I feel like he can do it,” Bryant told the NFL Network recently, per the Dallas Morning News. “I feel like he’s gonna do it. All of us are behind him 100 percent. I love Tony. He’s a great person and great player. I just feel like we all have to come together probably a little bit more and that’s what we’re doing.

“That’s what we’re working on. Coach Garrett does a great job with us. We’re looking to do big things in 2013.”

Earlier in the interview, Bryant was asked if he thought Romo had the potential to throw for 5,000-plus yards in a season and Bryant didn’t hesitate.

“Tony’s the man,” Bryant said. “I feel like with Tony’s ability he can do it with ease. In my eyes, Tony’s one of the best quarterbacks in this league."
