Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant believes he and Miles Austin have the potential to be one of the best receiving duos in the game. Or, maybe they already are one of the best.
Bryant was interviewed by fellow No. 88 Michael Irvin this week on the NFL Network, and he was asked where he and Austin stack up against, say, the New York Giants’ one-two punch of Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks or Atlanta’s Julio Jones and Roddy White.
“I feel like if we continue working the way we’re working right now, we’ll be one of the best,” Bryant said, per the Dallas Morning News, before amending his answer a bit: “We are one of the best right now, we have the potential to be the best.”
Last season, Austin finished with 66 catches for 943 yards and six touchdowns. Bryant posted 92 catches for 1,382 yards and 12 touchdowns.
