Deion Sanders Jr. Made A Hip Hop Video

Deion Sanders Jr. seems to be following in his Dad’s footsteps, not only by being a high school football standout, but also, apparently, by releasing a lyrically questionable rap video.

It was brought to our attention today that Sanders, Jr., son of Primetime and wide receiver for Flower Mound Marcus, is the star of a new and pretty terrible hip hop video called “Swaggin’.” In the video, Sanders Jr. and a hype man can be seen in a backyard, dancing and lip synching the words to the song.

The words? Well, they range from Rebecca Blackish statements (“Just playin’ Madden ... Cold like a cabin”), to pedestrian rhetorical questions (“What up, what it do? ... I’m Lil’ Deion, who are you?”) to the ever-present statement of fly-ness, “I’m swaggin’, swaggin’ ... Lil’ Deion and I’m fly like Aladdin.”

The video has gotten a lot of play on WorldStarHipHop.com as well as YouTube, thanks in part to a Twitter plug from rapper Lil B (AKA the Based God)--and though not all the feedback has been positive (surprising), Deion Jr. is taking his foray into the hip hop world in stride, saying on Twitter, via the Dallas Morning News, "Lol they got me on worldstar for a song I made a while ago. I'm not a rapper. If the song is Good or bad, Idc, i'm 17... Ima have fun".
