DeVonte Holloman Dealing with Neck Injury

Holloman was injured during Saturday's preseason matchup with the Ravens

Cowboys linebacker DeVonte Holloman was forced out of Saturday’s preseason game against the Ravens with a neck injury, Jason Garrett confirmed this week, and he’ll reportedly go to San Antonio on Tuesday to see a specialist.

This is particularly concerning for the team as Holloman missed seven games last season with a spinal contusion. He still finished his rookie season of 2013 with 26 tackles, including one for a loss, and two sacks.

He’s still getting evaluated on that, but it is a neck injury,” Garrett told the team’s official website. “He had a neck injury last year, so we’ll just monitor him after he gets the feedback from the doctors. We’re obviously looking at that situation very closely.”
