DeMarcus Ware Says He'll Play Against Washington

Ware has been limited in practice all week with a back issue

Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware returned to practice on a limited basis for the first time this week on Thursday, and says he will play against the Redskins in Washington on Sunday.

Ware has played through a quadriceps injury most of the year, but lately, he’s been dealing with a sore back. After working out Thursday, Ware was encouraged.

I feel good,” Ware said, per the Dallas Morning News.

After recording just six sacks through the first 14 games, Ware told reporters this week at Valley Ranch that he feels he needs to “redeem” himself Sunday at FedEx Field. If Ware records less than two sacks over the last two games, he’ll set a new career low. His current low is eight, set back in 2005, his rookie year.
