DeMarcus Ware Misses Practice with Elbow Issue

Ware has already dealt with quad and back issues this season

Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware was held out of practice on Friday after injuring his left elbow but, after undergoing an MRI, he sounded optimistic.

β€œI’m good,” Ware said, per the Dallas Morning News.

Ware is no stranger to the injury report. He missed time earlier in the year with a quad injury and was limited in practice last week with a sore back. He finished last season nursing elbow and shoulder injuries. The shoulder injury required offseason surgery, while the elbow healed on its own.

In that case, it was Ware’s right elbow, however.

Also missing practice were linebackers Sean Lee (of course) and Ernie Sims. Lee ruled himself out of Sunday’s game earlier in the week.
