DeMarcus Ware Dismisses Critics

Ware is in danger of posting a career-low in sacks this season

With three games remaining, Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware has only six sacks. If he doesn’t record two more, 2013 will mark his season-low (his low now is 8, set in his rookie season of 2005), and the first time since his rookie year that he has failed to have a sack-total in the double-digits.

Beyond that, after last week's loss to the Bears in Chicago, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said that the Cowboys needed more production from Ware.

But Ware remains confident that he’s the same old dominant guy, and he challenges any of his critics to tell him different. To his face.

People can say what they want to say,” Ware said, per the Dallas Morning News. “Tell them to get in front of me and see if they can block me. Then we’ll go from there.”

Ware was asked this week if he has any doubt if he can return to Pro Bowl form.

“There is no doubt in my mind,” he said. “I know that for a fact.”
