DeMarcus Lawrence Dealing with a Chest Issue

The second-year defensive end Lawrence leads the Cowboys with six sacks

Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence is dealing with a chest issue, but the team doesn't believe it's anything serious.

Lawrence reportedly missed a portion of practice as a result of the injury on Tuesday but head coach Jason Garrett said of the second-year Boise State product, per the Dallas Morning News, "he's going to be okay."

Which is good news for the Cowboys.

Through 13 games, Lawrence leads the Cowboys with six sacks. Two of those came on the first three snaps of the victory over the Redskins and he added another in the loss to the Packers on Sunday.

All told, Lawrence has 41 tackles and a forced fumble to go along with the six sacks going into Saturday night's match-up with the Jets at AT&T Stadium.
