DeMarco Murray Wants to Get Back to Football

Dallas Cowboys training camp starts in a week in Oxnard, CA

Dallas Cowboys training camp begins in a week, and running back DeMarco Murray is chomping at the bit to get back to work.

Murray has plenty of reason for excitement. For the second time in as many years, the Cowboys used their first round pick to upgrade the offensive line (center Travis Frederick in 2013, and guard Zack Martin in 2014), and he’s coming off his best season to date and a Pro Bowl nod.

Like the rest of the teams in the NFL, the Cowboys have had most of the past month off, a mini-vacation before getting back to the grind of professional football. Like all of us fans, Murray is ready for this so-called "dead month" to end.

I’m definitely looking forward to it,” Murray told NFL Network's "NFL AM" this week. “I’m tired of, I’ve been working out for awhile, so I’m ready to get back to football and get around my teammates and get back acclimated with the offense and things like that, so I’m excited.”
