DeMarco Murray Shines in First Pro Bowl

Murray scored the touchdown that set Team Rice up for the 22-21 victory

Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray played a crucial role in Team Rice’s victory over Team Sanders in Sunday’s Pro Bowl, the first of his career first.

With Rice’s squad down a seven in the fourth quarter, Murray caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from the San Diego Chargers’ Philip Rivers. Rice opted to go for the two point conversion and the win, and Panthers’ running back Mike Tolbert pounded it in.

Team Rice 22, Team Sanders 21, final.

Murray finished with four carries for 25 yards and four catches for 37 yards and the score.

Murray wasn’t the only Dallas representative to make some noise in Hawaii. Defensive tackle Jason Hatcher had two tackles, a sack and two quarterback hits and Tyron Smith held his own at right tackle for Team Rice.

Over on Team Sanders, Dez Bryant and Jason Witten had a pair of catches each--Bryant for 12 yards and Witten for 26 yards.
