DeMarco Murray Officially Ruled Out For Sunday

Murray is one of four Cowboys listed as "out" on Dallas' injury report

Not that it should come as any surprise to anyone, but DeMarco Murray has been officially ruled out for Sunday’s matchup with the Eagles in Philadelphia, one of four Cowboys to be preemptively ruled out of the battle of 3-5s, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Sunday will mark the fourth consecutive game missed by Murray as he recovers from that sprained foot, suffered in the loss to the Baltimore Ravens and, the Cowboys hope, the last. Murray began running on the foot last week, but the Cowboys never were too optimistic for his chances of playing this week, and they’ve made clear that they won’t rush him back.

Center Phil Costa, defensive lineman Sean Lissemore and safety Matt Johnson have also been ruled out, while Jay Ratliff, who returned to practice on Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday, is listed a probable.

Linebacker Dan Connor is officially listed as questionable, but from all we’ve heard, the Cowboys are planning on being without the veteran inside linebacker’s services against the Eagles.
