DeMarco Murray Misses Practice with Illness

Murray has reportedly been dealing with an unspecified illness all week

Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray missed practice on Wednesday with an unspecified illness, and was just one of a handful of notable players to be held out.

Murray has reportedly been dealing with the illness since Sunday’s victory over the Seahawks, in which he continued his historically hot start, going for 115 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries. He also had six catches for 31 yards.

It’s unclear how long the illness will keep Murray out.

Also sidelined on Wednesday were Tony Romo, Doug Free, Anthony Spencer, Bruce Carter and Rolando McClain, who will miss the next two practices to handle a personal issue before returning to the team on Friday.

He’s taking care of some personal situations,” head coach Jason Garrett said, “but we do anticipate him being back.”
