DeMarco Murray: “I'm Committed” to Eagles

Dez Bryant publicly called for Murray to "come home" this week

Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant used Twitter this week to publicly call for DeMarco Murray to “come home” to Dallas after a season in Philadelphia but of course, Murray can’t just up and declare himself a Cowboy again.

As he reminded Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, as the rumors about his future with the Eagles abound—his comments actually came in response to an NFL Network report that suggested he and the Eagles are coming to a “stare-down” regarding his future—he has a contract. One for five years, that he signed a year ago.

With that contract in place, he says, he’s committed to making it work with the Eagles.

"No. I'm signed there for the next four years. I don't know where that story is coming from," Murray told Florio, via Philly.com. "It's a little crazy. Every week I feel like there's something new. It's a little weird. I can't worry about what people are saying. I'll just continue to work hard. I'm signed for four years and I'm committed.”
