Daryl Johnston Hoping Jalen Ramsey is Still There at No. 4

Ramsey is widely thought of as one of the most talented players in the draft, regardless of position

Add longtime Dallas Cowboys fullback turned FOX analyst Daryl Johnston to the list of folks who would like to see the team select Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey with the fourth overall pick in this month’s 2016 NFL Draft.

Current players Morris Claiborne and Dez Bryant have already made their suggestions, with Bryant saying Ramsey would be his pick if he ran the Cowboys’ war room and Claiborne indirectly telling the team on Twitter to “put a *STAR* on this kid.”

Asked about the draft recently, Johnston told The Austin American-Statesman’s Kirk Bohls, “I hope Jalen Ramsey’s there.”

Granted, there’s a good chance he won’t be. But the general feeling seems to be that while the pass rush and backup quarterback situation are their most pressing needs, Ramsey’s the kind of talent you don’t pass on.
