Dan Bailey Makes History With OT Field Goal

Bailey now has a share of the franchise lead in game-winning field goals

With his overtime field goal to carry the Cowboys past the Steelers on Sunday, kicker Dan Bailey tied the franchise record for game-winning kicks. It was his seventh, in just two seasons with the team.

You always enjoy those moments,” Bailey said, per the Dallas Morning News. “Every game it’s very rare that you get a lot of opportunities. The more chances you can have to get out there and help the team out the better. And it’s always fun to put the final points on the board.”

Bailey has hit on 27 of 29 attempts this season, and was two-for-two in the victory over the Steelers on Sunday afternoon.
