Dallas Leads Washington at Half, 20-7

The gap could certainly be wider, but all the same, Dallas leads Washington 20-7 at half.

After a kick return of 38 yards by Bryan McCann, the Cowboys took their opening drive all of 30 yards to set David Buehler up for a 42 yard field goal, to put Dallas up by three.

A Gerald Sensabaugh interception gave Dallas the ball at Washington’s 27 yard line, and from there, the Cowboys needed just three plays to hit pay-dirt. The Cowboys’ first touchdown came on a three-yard touchdown pass from Jon Kitna to Miles Austin.

Buehler added a 20-yarder to bring the Dallas lead to 13 before the Redskins struck back, on a touchdown pass from Rex Grossman to Ryan Torain. Dallas answered quickly with a nine play, 97 yard drive, punctuated with a 14 yard touchdown pass from Kitna to Jason Witten.

Buehler missed on a 35 yard attempt as time ran out on the half.

At intermission, it’s Dallas 20, Redskins 7.
