DE George Selvie Undergoes Shoulder Surgery

Selvie started all 16 games for the Cowboys in 2013

Dallas Cowboys defensive end George Selvie became the latest member of the team to undergo an offseason surgical procedure this week, joining receiver/return man Dwayne Harris (shoulder) and right tackle Doug Free (ankle).

According to Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas, Selvie had surgery on his left shoulder but is expected to be well enough to participate in the team’s “voluntary” offseason conditioning program.

Selvie ended up starting all 16 games for the Cowboys in 2013, after being picked up toward the end of training camp--and he ended up being a rock for what was an injury-ravaged front seven. He finished with 45 tackles, seven sacks--that’s one more than DeMarcus Ware had--and a forced fumble.
